Former NFL quarterback Derek Carr's decision to head to UCLA to join Bob Chesney's staff as a special advisor left Bruins fans left with excitement as others joked on social media.

The former Fresno State star quarterback will be helping Chesney with game planning as he works with the Bruins quarterback room, according to Adam Schefter on Monday. Here were some of the internet's reaction to the news.

UCLA has added former NFL quarterback Derek Carr as a special advisor to coach Bob Chesney. He’ll work with Chesney and the offensive staff to help with game-planning strategy and assist with the quarterbacks.

Carr had overlapped with UCLA GM Darrick Yray while at Fresno State.
