Michigan State basketball picked up their first transfer portal commitment on Thursday, and it should be an impactful get for the Spartans.
Florida Atlantic transfer Kaleb Glenn committed to Michigan State on Thursday morning, adding a sharp-shooting scoring threat for the 2025-26 Spartans. Glenn averaged 12.6 points per game and recorded 4.8 rebounds per game this past season. Even more impressive was his ability to hit the long ball, with a 41% mark from three-point range on 117 attempts this past season.
Glenn previously played with Michigan State starting point guard Jeremy Fears Jr. so this will be a reunion for these two players.
With Glenn being the first of hopefully a few high-level transfer additions for Michigan State this offseason, fans, players and media were obviously pretty fired up. Let's check out some of the best social media reactions to Glenn's commitment to the Spartans on Thursday below:

New #MichiganState forward Kaleb Glenn was 48/117 (41%) from 3pt range in 2024-25.
Context: Jase Richardson was 47/114 (41%).
He’s also 90th+ percentile as a transition player and as a rim-cutter too. Long & athletic.
Perfect complementary SF for Jeremy Fears.

6’6” 210 forward Kaleb Glenn commits to MSU. 2 yrs of eligibility left. Shot 41% from deep on 117 3FGA (47% L wing 44% R wing). +Athlete, physical finisher (68%), great C&S option, elite transition scorer/cutter. Tweener forward who checks a lot of boxes for how MSU plays pic.twitter.com/vHVKu9NwkD

He averaged 12.6 PPG and 4.8 RPG. Glenn is not only a force at attacking the rim but also shot 41% from 3. Former 4-star recruit that began his career at Louisville. #GoGreenpic.twitter.com/v0Exz7ILi1

Things that make me EXTREMELY excited: Kaleb Glenn had 35 dunks last year and shot over 40% from deep. He can spread you out, or take you to the rack. pic.twitter.com/7fmXv8Tncr

Most underrated aspect of the Kaleb Glenn signing is that he has 2 years of eligibility remaining
As great as Fidler and Zapala were, they could’ve been even better if they had more time and familiarity in Izzo’s system
