42 Penn State players had at least one snap in Saturday’s 28-10 win over Michigan State. It sure was fun rewatching the game film after a win. After two long months without a win, I had nearly forgotten what that felt like.

Notes & Thoughts:​

• Liam Andrews appeared for the first time in conference play this season.
• I had to double-check my spreadsheet to make sure that Dani Dennis-Sutton only played 35 snaps. He was so dominant that it felt like he never missed a play.
• The 49 total snaps on defense is the fewest Penn State has had this season. Credit to the defense for getting off the field efficiently and to the offense for controlling the game on the ground.
• All three tight ends had at least 34 snaps, and even with multiple tight ends out there on many plays, they still could not muster one reception in the game.
• Kyron Hudson led the receivers in snaps but did not have a catch. Peña and Ross had less playing time but were infinitely more productive.
• Daryus Dixon and King Mack have quietly become strong players in the secondary as the season has gone on. Dixon led the corners in snaps this week. Jim Knowles’ secondary blitzes overwhelmed Michigan State all afternoon.
