Slovenia, including siblings Domen and Nika Prevc, powered to Olympic ski jumping mixed team gold again on the Predazzo normal hill on Tuesday.
The success happened just an hour after Swedish brother and sister Rasmus and Isabella Wranå won curling mixed doubles gold, believed to be the first brother and sister to take gold in the same Olympic event as a team.
Slovenia scored 1,069.2 with Anze Lanisek and 2022 team winner Nika Vodan also involved. Norway took silver on 1038.3 and Japan sealed bronze thanks to big jumps from Ren Nikaido as they just edged ahead of Germany, including individual gold medallist Philipp Raimund.
The Prevc triumph made up for individual normal hill disappointment at these Games for the brother and sister, who have dominated the World Cup this season. They will go for gold again on the large hill at the weekend.
Domen, who managed jumps of 100 metres and 102m, said: "It was big pressure. I am glad that I managed to turn this pressure and focus in the right direction and get the gold medal."
The pair followed in the flight path of older brother Peter, who helped Slovenia win the gold in the same event in 2022 when it made its Olympic debut.
Vodan was only one on both winning teams, the first came under her maiden name Križnar.
"I have experienced it before but this is a level up," she said.
"It is really special to be here with Nika. She did a really great job. I am so proud standing here beside her. I am super happy we have a gold medal. This is something really special."
Four Hills winner and ski flying world champion Domen had to be content with sixth instead of gold in Monday's men's normal hill event, two days after Nika got only silver in the women's event.
