At this point, it almost feels routine whenever Shohei Ohtani accomplishes something that very few players in MLB history have ever done. The Los Angeles Dodgers superstar added another historic achievement to his already remarkable résumé on Tuesday night, launching the 300th home run of his MLB career and further cementing his place among baseball’s all-time greats. As if reaching 300 home runs wasn’t impressive enough, Ohtani did it at a pace matched by only a handful of legends.
