Shedeur Sanders celebrated a big personal milestone on Saturday.

He walked the stage for graduation from the University of Colorado.

It's been about a year since he was drafted into the NFL by the Cleveland Browns, and it seems Sanders kept putting in the work to finish off his degree.

What was Shedeur Sanders' college major?

According to Browns beat writer Mary Kay Cabot, Sanders got his degree in sociology.

Sociology is the study of society, social institutions and human interaction.

Seems like the kind of thing that could both help Sanders better understand his fame, as well as help him figure out the best path toward winning the Browns' 2026 starting QB job over Deshaun Watson.

Of course, some will question the overall academic commitment of a big-time college football player, but reports indicate that Sanders finished with a 3.9 GPA.

Shedeur did post a relatively simple message on his social media on graduation day:

Let’s focus on what truly matters in life, and bring others along so we can elevate each other mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Sanders will soon return to the Browns, where he's got a job to win.

Now, he'll be pursuing that gig with a degree in hand.
