He was taken to Alvin S Glenn Detention Center on June 13 and he was released June 14 on a $150,000 bond, according to Richland County judicial records.

A South Carolina athletic spokesman said in a statement June 14 that Williams-Dixon was suspended from the team.

The redshirt sophomore had just arrived on campus in January after starting his career at Ohio State, where he logged 10 career carries for 62 yards. He's from Pickerington, Ohio.
