Seeds, schedule heading into boys basketball Shore Conference Tournament

The Shore Conference Tournament field is set.

Lost in the shuffle and excitement around Super Bowl Sunday was the seeding of the 24-team field to decide this year's conference boys basketball champion. The turnaround of scheduling is quick as games will tip off barely 48 hours later with Tuesday's opening slate of games for teams seeded 24 through nine with the top eight seeds receiving a bye until the second round on Thursday.

Here's a look at all of the scheduled opening round games on Tuesday and the prospective matchups on Thursday. The quarterfinals of the tournament will be played on Saturday.

First Round - Tuesday, Feb. 10​

First round byes: CBA (1), Wall (2), Red Bank Catholic (3), Howell (4), Marlboro (5), Jackson Township (6), Manasquan (7), Holmdel (8)

Matawan (24) at Rumson-Fair Haven (9) at 6:30 p.m.

Henry Hudson (23) at Freehold Township (10) at 5:30 p.m.

Shore Regional (22) at Ranney (11) at 4 p.m.
