A pair of bowlers from the unbeaten Heath boys team were among the recent selections to the Licking County League first team.
Payton Love (205.15) and Kam Smith (191.31) each were named to the first team based on their season averages after leading the Bulldogs to a 16-0 mark, and they were joined by Utica’s Devin Spring (202.46). Heath’s Vicki White was named Coach of the Year.
Granville’s Sydney Cottrill (166.50) and Nyah Painter (163.40) were named to the LCL girls first team after helping the Blue Aces earn a share of the championship with Zanesville. Granville’s Rita Resek shared Coach of the Year honors with Zanesville’s Joel Kunkle.
With a 208.10 average, Mount Vernon’s Griffin Beach was named the boys Player of the Year. Zanesville’s Olivia Bratton was named the girls Player of the Year.
