I have choice of seats in Section 34 --Row 42 through 45--seats 1-2-3-etc.
Raider game this month-night game.
Will be bringing 9yr.old. Safe section or should I bring walking cane with very heavy knob?
Can you see the game from there? First time at SDS.

Also 1st. post.

I am not sure about Sec 34 either. But bringing a 9 YO to a game that the Raiders are playing could be risky. If it is getting ugly in Sec 34 move over to Sec 40, there will be plenty of Diehards there and we ALL watch eachothers backs.

I will continue the pile-on. There is no way I would take a kid under the age of 13-14 unless I was in the lodge or something. Add the Raider Nation to the equation and gets even uglier. Fwiw, you are better off taking the tyke to a Dbacks game or waiting for ASU.

I usually sit in the east side upper deck. What few fans are there are usually Cards fans. I like the view of the field better and I don't mind the sun during day games.

Most of the problems I have seen take place in the lower level where people are packed in tighter.

That is a really good idea. My seats are in the endzone, so it gets pretty bad there.

Thanks for the info.

The tickets were free.
I was going to take his Dad with us but he just returned two wks. ago from a Resort down your way,one with bars and razor wire.It would be silly to put him in a position to maybe go back just for B-slapping someone in makeup and horns. Now if it were just me and the kid,we would be safe enough. The little guy knows the drill--just be fast enough to keep Grandpa in sight.

I've never been to a cards vs. raiders game... how is it different then a normal game?

How will the "raider nation" treat about 6 boisterous cards fans in cards gear?

Section 34 is just south of the goal line in the south end of the stadium. It is on the visitors side of the field. DieHard has the right idea. If things get a little tough, move over into the south endzone and head for a section where there is a lot of red showing. There will be a lot of security there for that game, so don't hesitate to inform them of any animosity towards you or the little guy. They just love to throw Raiders fans out.

Going to a Cards-Raiders game is always a trip. You find a parking spot and you park your car Raider fans is already on you. Standing and waiting in a long beer line Raider fans already talking smack. You get to your seats Raider fans occupying them, ask them to move have an attitude even though its rightly your seats. After the last time they were here I got into a shoving match with a couple of them and was escorted out of the game. Damn Bastards. :stupid:

I don't know anything about that section but there will be 50 thousand empty seats. Just sit wherever you want. They aren't going to send the seat police out after you. If you do get those kids with a lot of Raider fans, and trust me, there will be a ton, they will witness a lot of bad behavior. The Raiders have cornered not only the market on gang-bangers, but also foul mouthed, inconsiderate, self obsessed, non-law abiding, violent thugs. Of course all NFL teams attract some of these types, but the Raiders, by far, have the rest of the NFL outdone on low-rent losers. Nevertheless, just by ready to move away from these low-lifes and you should have a fine time. Go up on the upper deck and you guys can probably have a whole section to yourselves. Don't let these raider idiots stop you from enjoying yourselves. Go Cards!

I'll probably spend most of the game watching it on T.V. where we all meet at half time.

Hmmm, going to the stadium to watch it on TV. Interesting.

I got tickets in the mail today so I am looking forward to watching in person.
