Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald loves high-motor defensive linemen who are versatile enough to play up and down the line. Despite having solid depth on the d-line, general manager John Schneider will likely select ideal scheme-fits in the 2025 NFL draft. Keeping the cupboard full ensures Macdonald can rotate defensive lineman as he sees fit.
One potential fit is Nebraska defensive lineman Ty Robinson. Veteran draft analyst Tony Pauline is reporting that the Seahawks are scheduled to host Robinson on a pre-draft visit.
Robinson is among the most underrated prospects in the 2025 NFL draft. The Cornhuskers standout was dominant this past season, recording career-highs in every major statistical category by posting 37 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and seven sacks. It's worth noting Robinson is an older prospect, having completed six seasons of college football.
Robinson also proved he's a supreme athlete via his performance at the NFL Combine. The Gilbert, Arizona native ran a 4.83-second 40-yard dash at 6-foot-5 and 288 pounds. Robinson also possesses ideal measurements with 32.25 inch arms and 10 inch hands. He also posted 28 bench-press reps and leaped a 33.5 inch vertical.
Robinson would be a terrific scheme fit in Macdonald's aggressive defense. Other recent Seahawks pre-draft visits include Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe and Georgia defensive end Mykel Williams.

Ty Robinson visiting with #Seahawks this week and I don't know that there is a better schematic fit for Macdonald's defense. Dude can play all over the place, high motor. https://t.co/XRzwy3ldfn
