Olu Oluwatimi of the Seattle Seahawks is continuing to be viewed as a trade candidate. With the Seahawks being one of the better teams in the NFL right now, but always looking to improve on both sides of the football, whether that be with further draft capital or players, there's definitely reason to believe that a trade could happen throughout the remainder of the offseason.

The Seahawks offensive lineman would also be a very good fit for some teams around the NFL, making it a wise decision to at least consider moving on from the Michigan product.

Among the teams that would make sense for Oluwatimi, the Baltimore Ravens were recently linked to the 26-year-old, given the deep ties to him.

“It would also be doing right by a starting-caliber player who isn't going to start in Seattle barring an injury to Sundell.

“The Baltimore Ravens could make sense as a trade partner. They lost Tyler Linderbaum in free agency and did not add a center in the draft. Also, Oluwatimi is from Maryland, and new Ravens coach Jesse Minter was on Michigan's staff (as was Macdonald) when he finished his college career with the Wolverines in 2022,” Brady Henderson of ESPN wrote.

The Maryland connection is definitely something that we have to talk about, as he's from right around the Ravens stadium.

It's also important to consider his connection with Jesse Minter, as Minter might believe he's a very good player who once played for him and can continue to develop.

While the pairing makes a lot of sense, it'll be interesting to see if that actually is what happens.
