The Seattle Seahawks will shut down Downtown Seattle today for their World Championship parade. The parade is expected to draw 1 million people downtown today, the most in that area since their first parade in 2014.
Both our managing editor and contributor will be bringing you live coverage on Twitter a.k.a. X from the scene. Follow @KoleMusgrove23, @DomSkene, and of course, @TheSeahawksWire for videos, pictures and updates of the celebration.
Details on the parade can be found here. Wednesday’s celebrations will begin at 10 a.m. with the Trophy Celebration at Lumen Field, which sold out the stadium’s capacity with free tickets in 20 minutes on Monday. From there, the team will jump on the buses, and the parade will begin around 11 a.m. They will ride down 4th avenue from Washington Street to Cedar Street for their victory lap of the Emerald City, Lombardi Trophy in hand, which should last approximately two hours til 1 p.m. Streets will be blocked off downtown until around 1:30.
The Seahawks announced their parade Monday amid team members running the celebrity circuit gauntlet after becoming immortalized as Super Bowl LX Champions, and now, they get the entire gang back together one last time to memorialize it. Even Klint Kubiak, who already joined the Raiders as head coach, is back to celebrate today. It’s a day that will be remembered as the last time we get to see the 2025-26 Seahawks team all together at once, to honor and support them one last time before moving on to the next year. If one thing’s for certain about today as the most far-out city in the footballing world, as the Legion Of Boom team and the Mission Over Bull(expletive) team that represent them to their core have shown, Seattle will do it in style.
