The Seattle Seahawksrecently concluded offseason workouts. OTAs and minicamp helped Mike Macdonald's team prepare for training camp. One of the players who was a limited participant due to injury is veteran offensive lineman Josh Jones.

Jones recently spoke with veteran NFL reporter Aaron Wilson. The former Houston Cougars standout claimed he's recovered from a knee injury and expects to be ready for training camp. That's positive news for Jones and the Seahawks.

"I head back Monday to Seattle, get back, grind, get ready for camp, super excited for it," Jones told Wilson at a youth football camp. "I think I'll be a full-go at the start of camp. We'll see how we work into it."

Jones is expected to serve as the swing offensive tackle behind starters Charles Cross and Abe Lucas. Having a veteran in that role is important to consistency for the offense. Jones has been a worthwhile backup for Cross and Lucas.

Jones played 242 snaps at left tackle for the Seahawks last season, according to Pro Football Focus. Cross was sidelined for a few games with injury. Jones was credited with allowing two sacks and nine quarterback pressures. He'll be back on the field for training camp.
