The Seattle Seahawks have been in the market for a fullback all offseason long. General manager John Schneider confirmed that earlier this month. New offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak has routinely included the position in his plans over the years. Kubiak used a fullback on 370-plus snaps in 2021, and 270-plus in 2024, this past campaign as the play-caller for the New Orleans Saints.

Perhaps the Seahawks are getting closer to finding the ideal fit at fullback. They recently hosted free-agent fullback Adam Prentice on a free-agent, according to a report by NFL insider Aaron Wilson.

Prentice was Kubiak's go-to fullback in New Orleans last season. The former 2021 undrafted free agent out of Colorado State South Carolina totaled precisely 272 snaps, accounting for 25 percent of the Saints' total offensive plays. Prentice would be a natural fit to reunite with Kubiak in Seattle.

There are no draftable fullbacks in the 2025 NFL draft, unless the Seahawks plan to draft somebody like Cam Skattebo and play him out of position. Prentice is a far more proven asset at a position of need for Kubiak. Schneider should quickly agree to terms with Prentice now that he's officially visited Seattle.
