The Seattle Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl and will look to get some revenge against the New England Patriots in the process.

But, they nearly didn't get there, and a lot of the blame for the loss might've fallen on the shoulders of Seahawks defensive back Tariq Woolen. He had a brutal taunting penalty, which gave the Rams a first down. Then he gave up a long TD on the next play.

It was a brutal sequence for Woolen. On the sideline, Woolen was "pressed" by Nick Emmanwori over this two-play sequence. But, after the game, Woolen revealed what actually went down, with Emmanwori also backing up the fourth-year DB.

"Wasn't getting pressed," Woolen posted. "We brothers and we all chasing greatness on the same mission."

Emmanwori also shared his side of things, posting in response to Woolen, "The Brotherhood is real, real connections other teams don't have."

There isn't any bad blood between Woolen and Emmanwori. It was a momentary blunder from Woolen that he and his Seahawks teammates can move past after their big win over the Rams.

It was a terrible two-play sequence for Woolen, one that might've turned into one of the all-time mistakes in sports history if the Rams went on to win.

But he and the rest of the Seahawks defense came together and stopped the Rams to end the game, advancing to the Super Bowl, and moving past what was a costly mistake.

This sideline interaction was a heat-of-the-moment issue, and one that Seattle's defense was able to recover from the rest of the game.

Woolen knows he messed up, and his teammates know he's better than that. It's something to learn from, and now heading into the Super Bowl, Woolen and the rest of the Seahawks will be acutely aware of taunting penalties going forward.
