Savannah Bananas game at Yankee Stadium moved due to weather forecast

If you're planning to see the Savannah Bananas play at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, April 25, you're going to have to change up those plans.

The Bananas game against the Party Animals has been moved to Friday, April 24 due to a forecast of sustained inclement weather, the team and New York Yankees announced.

Friday's game in the Bronx will start at 7:30 p.m.


Fans with tickets for the game on Saturday, April 25, may use them on Friday, April 24, the Yankees said in a statement.

Here's what to expect on Friday in the Bronx:

Savannah Bananas schedule at Yankee Stadium on Friday​

• Pre-Game Plaza in Macombs Dam Park opens at 3 p.m.

• Player appearances in Macombs Dam Park is at 3 p.m.

• "Before the Peel" show in Macombs Dam Park is at 3:30 p.m.

• Yankee Stadium gates open at 5 p.m.

• Show starts at 7 p.m.

The Yankees' release says ticketholders who purchased tickets through the Savannah Bananas will receive further ticket information via email directly from the Bananas. Those who purchased tickets from the Yankees will receive information from the Yankees.
