There is a edit tab at the top of the title page (initial post where) where the thread title can be edited.

I don't think this is a joke...

It's a April Fool's Day prank. I can't see it as otherwise coming out on April 1st.

Also, who would break the story? It would be none other than John Gambadoro if true.

Obviously a prank, but the only way I'd feel good about this is if Sarver vowed to sell it to someone who was keeping them here.

As is I suspect Sarver selling would = Suns are gone.

That's a pretty big leap.

But a possibility. A reminder that Robert Sarver owns only 30% of the team. We would have to depend on the other owners (and the NBA & Jerry) to pressure him to use discretion in selling his minority interest.

I still don't understand why the other 70% of votes among the other owners don't strip him of his Managing General Partner (public buffoon) responsibility and leave the running of the team to the professional basketball people hired to do it. There is no reason for the 30% owner to micromanage the GM and Head Coach as if he has any basketball expertise.

Hey, if any of you know Sarver, ask him to read the title of this thread. It might give him an idea. :)

At the bottom of the article it says it is just a joke, a very mean and cruel joke.

"Have a happy Sunday, a Happy Easter, and a pleasant APRIL FOOLS!!

(Sorry Suns fans, this entire post was an April Fools joke. Although I hope you enjoyed it while it lasted!)"

Jeesh....didn't see the bottom. The article looked so legit....aholes.

I don't see why. Our attendance is way down, we're in the beginnings of an arena dispute and you've markets in Seattle and Vegas, filled with billionaires, who have made plain their goal to poach a franchise.

Should Sarver decide to sell my hope would be that Arte Moreno is a big basketball fan...

Blah blah, it’s always jumping to relocation. Do you even know how often that happens in the NBA? It happens with Seattle and all of a sudden it’s a huge fear. Give me a break. The suns aren’t going anywhere. The league wouldn’t approve it anyway.

Stranger things have happened in pro sports.

The league wouldn’t approve it anyway.
On this, I agree with you. Especially with Jerry being active with the NBA.

I read the thread title and it made me the happiest I’ve been since the day of my wedding until I clicked on it :(

Personally if Sarver ever sells the team, it’s the equivalent of a championship for me. I think there ought to be a legitimate parade in Phoenix if that actually happens.
