An overwhelming 59% of voters said that Travis Etienne Jr. will be the one racking up the most rushing yards for the Saints this season. Etienne, who is a Jennings, LA native, was one of the most sought-after free agents this year. On March 13, he signed a four-year, $52 million contract to play for the Saints back in his home state. Etienne just turned 27 years old in January and is being groomed to take over as Alvin Kamara’s successor, who is 30 years old, in the last year of his newly restructured contract and is likely to retire after this season.
Prior to signing with the Saints, Etienne spent four years with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He had a career year in 2025, rushing for 1,107 yards for 7 rushing touchdowns on 260 carries. He also had a career high 6 receiving touchdowns on 36 receptions for 292 yards. Let’s hope that momentum carries on in New Orleans beginning in September.
