Safety Geno Stone, who played the past two seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals, is joining the Buffalo Bills on a one-year deal, according to a report via Twitter/X from Jordan Schultz.
Stone was among several Cincinnati players whose contracts expired at the conclusion of the 2025 season, making them unrestricted free agents.
Stone, who turns 27 in April, drew criticism for missed tackles during his second season with the Bengals.
Stone had a 33-yard interception return for a touchdown during the second quarter of the team's NFL Week 12 loss to New England at Paycor Stadium. It was Stone's second career pick-six, and the Bengals' first defensive touchdown of the season.
Stone was injured during the third quarter of the Bengals' season-opening NFL Week 1 win against Cleveland. He returned to the game after being evaluated on the sideline.
Stone suffered a soft tissue injury during Cincinnati's preseason opener against the Eagles. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor announced that Stone would be "week to week" because of the injury.
Stone played his first four NFL seasons for the Baltimore Ravens.
