Are you a Vegas Golden Knights fan living in Utah? Ryan Smith wants to persuade you to become a Utah Mammoth supporter.

Amid the two teams’ heated playoff battle, the Mammoth owner posted a memo on X Wednesday afternoon notifying fans that he’d give a brand-new Mammoth jersey to any and all fans who wanted to trade in their Golden Knights sweaters.

For any Golden Knights fans still left in Utah, come swap your VGK jersey for a new @UtahMammoth jersey on Friday at noon at the Delta Center. Utah shows up! #TusksUp

The team posted an official memo a few minutes later with the details.

It will happen at noon on Friday at the Delta Center plaza. The jerseys being exchanged must be official (not knockoffs). The fans will receive blank Mammoth home jerseys, which they can later choose to customize with player names and numbers for a fee.

The explanation also specifies that the offer does not include a ticket to that evening’s game, the first-ever Stanley Cup Playoff game at the Delta Center.

It’s not the first time Smith Entertainment Group has held a jersey swap. After unveiling its “Mountain Basketball” branding for the Utah Jazz, the company allowed fans to trade their previous iterations of Jazz jerseys for the new one.

The Mammoth and the Golden Knights are currently tied 1-1 in their best-of-seven playoff series.
