According to ESPN's Matt Miller, the Chargers are rumored to be all in on improving at edge rusher in the early rounds of the 2025 NFL draft.
Los Angeles re-signed Khalil Mack, but it was only to a one-year deal. The team must start preparing for life after Mack and get a starting-caliber player to complement Tuli Tuipulotu for seasons to come.
They could address the positional need as early as the first round, with someone like Boston College's Donovan Ezeiruaku, Georgia's Mykel Williams, or Marshall's Mike Green, who the Chargers reportedly like, according to NFL Stock Exchange's Connor Rogers.
Should they wait until Day 2, Michigan's Josaiah Stewart, Ohio State's JT Tuimoloau, LSU's Bradyn Swinson, and Ole Miss' Princely Umanmielen are some players to watch for Los Angeles.
While they have a handful of other needs, the Chargers must make it one of their priorities to inject the edge defender group with more juice and youth.
