Professional golfer and 2025 Masters winner Rory McIlroy assumed the vital role of prepping the Masters Champions dinner menu for 2026's return to Augusta.
His menu looked absolutely delicious, but it did not contain obvious callbacks to his Irish heritage. Why was that the case? Well, according to McIlroy, it's all about taste.
“People keep asking me, ‘Why didn’t you go more Irish?’ and I said, ‘Because I want to enjoy the dinner as well,'" McIlroy joked during media availably on Tuesday.
Dang! McIlroy apparently isn't the biggest fan of his home country's cuisine. That's certainly his right, to be fair!
For folks attending the dinner who were hoping for an Irish dish to try, you'll have to look elsewhere to get your fix.
