Rory McIlroy admitted he doesn't care for Bryson DeChambeau in Open critique

Golfer Bryson DeChambeau's controversial two-stroke penalty and general behavior during The Open at Royal Birkdale on Friday caught him some tough criticism from two-time Masters winner Rory McIlroy.

McIlroy lit DeChambeau up while talking about his alleged "performative" behavior, going as so far to saying that he isn't "particularly fond of him."

"I think a lot of it's for attention," McIlroy said of DeChambeau's well-established antics on the green.

It's something to see McIlroy so blatantly go after DeChambeau like this, even after his controversial actions on Friday. We wonder if DeChambeau will take this direct of criticism to heart from one of the game's greats.

"I won't pretend to be up here and defend Bryson. I'm not particularly fond of him. I think a lot of it's performative. I think a lot of it's for attention."
