Ronda Rousey showed up at AEW Revolution 2026 in a shrewd move to cross-promote her upcoming superfight against Gina Carano, promoted by fellow challenger brand MVP Promotions. Ronda Rousey has spent the last several days taking unfiltered shots at UFC, the WWE of mixed martial arts, for underpaying its fighters.

Ronda Rousey left WWE on tense terms, and she’s made multiple appearances in AEW and even ROH since her departure. After an overachieving match between Toni Storm and Marina Shafir, Rousey showed up to a huge reaction of mostly boos. After a brief Rousey-Toni Storm faceoff, Shafir blasted Storm with a cheapshot. Rousey, who was dressed in all black like an Expendable, has since been confirmed as a Death Rider associate.

Rousey has done a great job leveraging her name and illustrious career to promote a dream fight on a top streamer. Over 12,000 tickets have been moved in the Intuit Dome with the fight still two months away.

Marina Shafir has already confirmed she will be in attendance for her friends big fight, which streams on May 16, 2026 on Netflix.
