Roma to match Marseille’s fee for Mason Greenwood
These are crucial days for Roma’s transfer market.

The feeling is that the race for Greenwood is entering its most crucial phase.
Marseille needs to raise funds by June 30th to avoid heavy sanctions, such as a three-year ban from competitions.
Roma fits into this scenario, and following the contacts between Dan Friedkin and the president of OM, they are ready to meet the French club’s demands.
As Corriere dello Sport reports, the Giallorossi club is ready to structure an upward offer of €50 million: €15-€20 million by June 30th, and a second installment of €35 million, including bonuses, spread over several years.
This formula would allow Marseille to account for the deal in their 2026 financial statements and generate a significant capital gain.
Roma are also strong in their admiration for the English winger, with whom they have an agreement based on €4.5 million plus bonuses, a figure expected to grow over the years.
