Roma and Moreira nearing done deal


Ryan Friedkin arrived in Rome yesterday to boost the Giallorossi’s transfer window.


D’Amico is making progress on Diego Moreira, a Strasbourg winger.


The Giallorossi sporting director has an offer ready: €30 million plus bonuses and a 10% interest on any future transfers.


The French club is lowering its financial demands but would like something higher than the Roman club’s offer. Meanwhile, Roma has already reached an agreement with Diego Moreira: a salary of €2 million per season.


In the coming hours, Roma will seek a definitive move for Diego Moreira.


As reported by Repubblica, Strasbourg would like to see a reduction in the percentage of the Giallorossi’s future resale: the goal is to increase it from 10% to 20%.


Further discussions between the clubs are expected to finalize the deal. Chelsea, a club that shares ownership with Strasbourg, will also be involved in the phone calls, and Strasbourg is also in talks with Roma regarding Garnacho.


Gasperini appreciates the 2004-born player, who has the ability to play multiple positions while still being effective. The Belgian winger finished last season with 5 goals and 9 assists.
