While the league is largely composed of players from Schuylkill County, it also features talent from Harrisburg, Lebanon, Wilkes-Barre and other areas across the region, said Michael Doubles, a member of the hockey association.
Quack Attack are the reigning champions from the 2024 season.
While the teams for the spring season are set, those interested in playing during the summer season are welcome to talk to an association member during a game, Doubles said.
The adult league’s summer season will begin July 7 and continue through Labor Day weekend.
Rule the Roost, an in-line hockey tournament, will be held 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 20.
On July 15 and 17, the hockey association will host its second annual learn-to-play program, teaching the basics of roller hockey mechanics and strategy to people new to the sport.
For more information on the games and schedule, visit the Schuylkill County Hockey Association Facebook group.
Registration for the youth league, which begins in October, will be available at rollerroostsportsarena.com starting in August.
