A showdown between bright Latin American prospects has been added to this year's Noche UFC.
Rodrigo Vera is set to welcome Ramiro Jimenez to the octagon at Noche UFC, the promotion's annual event that celebrates Mexican Independence. This year's Noche UFC goes down on Sept. 12 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Ariz. Multiple sources confirmed the matchup with MMA Junkie.
Vera (22-1-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) debuted for the UFC in May, stopping Kangjie Zhu in the first round of a fight he took on short notice. For a long time, the Peruvian was considered one of the best Hispanic talents outside of the UFC, with an impressive record of 21-1-1. Prior to joining the UFC, Vera had fought for LFA, Shooto Brazil and Combate Global.
Jimenez (11-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has yet to make his UFC debut despite winning a contract at Dana White Contender Series in 2025. The Mexican fighter stopped Tommy Cuozzi Jr. in the first round to get himself a ticket into the UFC. The 27-year-old has nice stoppages out of his 11 pro MMA wins.
