Game 4 of the opening-round Western Conference series between the Warriors and Rockets will tip off on Monday night at the Chase Center, and on both sides, the injury report will be critical. That's because Golden State is still dealing with the pelvic injury to star forward Jimmy Butler, an injury that forced him to sit out for Game 3.

The Warriors, after a slow start in that one, managed to come back for the win and a 2-1 series advantage, powered by 36 points and nine assists from Stephen Curry. Key contributions also came from Buddy Hield (17 points) and Gary Payton II (16 points), as well as a Warriors defense that limited the Rockets in a 104-93 win.

On Sunday, the NBA released its official update on the injury situations of the two teams, and while there was only a holding pattern for Butler--he remains questionable--there is positive news, however minor, on the Rockets' side. Center Jock Landale, who has been battling a right knee injury, has been upgraded to "probable" on the NBA's official sheet.

For the season, Landale has been a fringe rotation player for coach Ime Udoka, making 42 appearances for an average of 11.9 minutes, averaging 4.8 points and 3.3 rebounds. But he is 6-foot-11 and for a Rockets team that wants to exploit its size advantage over the Warriors, he could be a factor.

"Probable" indicates a player has a 75% chance to play.

Landale had his best game of the season back on Feb. 13 against the Warriors, when he went for 13 points and eight rebounds.

He is most effective when playing with energy and a focus on defense.

"To be honest, it's all about playing as hard as possible," Landale said about his goal when he is on the floor. "Locking in on the defensive end while working to get guys open on the offensive end. I feel like I've been playing the same way every night."
