The New England Patriots have an injury concern with linebacker Robert Spillane in the first half of the AFC Championship Game against the Denver Broncos.
Spillane got banged-up in the first quarter. It remains unclear exactly what he is dealing with as of this writing.

Robert Spillane injury update
UPDATE: Spillane is officially questionable with an ankle injury, the Patriots said.
UPDATE: Spillane is now heading to the locker room, which isn't a great sign for his chances of returning. Still waiting on an update from the team, though.
UPDATE: Spillane is going into the medical tent for further evaluation.
Spillane stayed seated on the field after getting hurt and the Patriots' medical staff is now tending to him.
