Rickie Fowler is no stranger to wearing bright colors at golf tournaments, but it's not his orange that's standing out in the first round of the 2026 U.S. Open.
Rocking an all-white pullover and pants, Fowler's shoes are stealing the show Thursday at Shinnecock Hills in Southampton, New York. The six-time PGA Tour winner is wearing bright pink kicks that are cutting through the early-morning fog and becoming a talking point early.
Fashion choices are always a topic of discussion, especially at major championships, and Fowler's bright pink shoes are certainly getting people's attention early on.
After a bogey at the opening hole, Fowler had an excellent approach on the second. Good luck seeing it past the beacon lights on his feet, though.
