Over 10 years ago, the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks gave the NFL one of their most viral moments in the league's history after an NFC Championship showdown between the division rivals.

On San Francisco's final play of the game, Colin Kaepernick's pass to wide receiver Michael Crabtree was tipped by Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and was intercepted by Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith.

After the game, Sherman gave a passionate interview to FOX reporter Erin Andrews, where he called Crabtree a "sorry-ass receiver."

A decade later, Sherman has laid out all the details that led to the memorable rant.

I had no clue the beef started off the field

If Sherman's claims are true, it's wild that Crabtree was acting that way at an event, and it's no surprise that the cornerback let everyone hear about it after the game.

Crabtree finished that game with four receptions for 52 yards, and the 49ers lost by six points while the Seahawks went on to beat the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl.
