Revealed – When Inter Milan & Germany Defender Could Return From Injury
Inter Milan star Yann Bisseck will not be in contention for the upcoming Serie A showdown against fourth-placed Como.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the German defender risks staying in the pits for a fortnight.
Yann Bisseck picked up a thigh injury toward the end of the international break.
Therefore, Cristian Chivu was unable to count on the 25-year-old last weekend as Inter thrashed Roma 5-0 at San Siro.
Moreover, the former Aarhus man won’t be at Chivu’s disposal for Sunday’s trip to Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia to face Como.
As a result, Francesco Acerbi is likely to make his second consecutive Serie A start.
When Inter Milan Defender Yann Bisseck Could Return to Action
Acerbi deputized for Bisseck against Roma and fared extremely well. As such, it’s reasonable to expect Chivu to keep the veteran center-back in the starting lineup this weekend.
On the other hand, Bisseck could recover for Inter’s next home match against perennial strugglers Cagliari.
In the meantime, Chivu will continue to rely on Acerbi and potentially Carlos Augusto, who served a one-game suspension against Roma last time out.
Indeed, the 27-year-old Brazilian wingback could take Federico Dimarco’s place on the left flank on Sunday.
