The University of North Carolina has reportedly banned UNC coach Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, from the football building and field, according to sports commentator Pablo Torre.

A recent TMZ report suggested that there was a "growing sense" that Belichick and Hudson's relationship could potentially become a problem at Chapel Hill.

The couple has been getting significant negative press in recent weeks, which crescendoed in an awkward CBS interview. Hudson reportedly butted into the interview repeatedly, and at one point, she was said to have stormed out of the room, causing production to shut down for about 30 minutes.

She also publicly released a private, fiery email to the people in Belichick's camp about the promotion for his new book, "The Art of Winning," on Instagram.

"Two sources at the University of North Carolina tell me that there has been a decision that was made last week by the higher-ups inside the athletic department that hired Bill Belichick to be the highest-paid public employee, not just coach in the state of North Carolina at $10 million per year," Torre reported on "Pablo Torre Finds Out." "And that decision was that Jordon Hudson is no longer allowed in the football building. She is not allowed on the football field."

Sources tell @PabloTorre that Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, is now banned from UNC's football facility.

One Belichick family source adds: "There is deep worry for how detrimental Jordon can be for not just North Carolina but Bill's legacy, reputation — everything… pic.twitter.com/59xQQtqyc0

There is a conflicting report to Torre's from Tar Hill Illustrated, which suggests multiple sources have confirmed that Hudson has not been banned from UNC football facilities.

The drama surrounding Belichick's publicized relationship and the school could cause problems for the 73-year-old coach, particularly if the team struggles to win games.

Of course, winning is the great equalizer, and the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach could calm the storms if he gets North Carolina back to being a competitive football program.
