The Tennessee Titans have eight picks in the upcoming 2025 NFL draft, and they are being thorough in their evaluations.
They hold the first overall pick in this year's draft, and while nothing official has been announced, the Titans are very likely to select Miami quarterback Cam Ward with that pick. They can always make it interesting and go in another direction, but their activity this offseason indicates that is the direction they will go.
So what will they do with the other eight picks? They have plenty of areas of opportunity to focus on, but it seems they are highly interested in LSU running back Josh Williams.
The Titans obviously aren't the only ones interested in Williams, who was LSU's second-leading rusher in 2024. He had 117 carries for 482 yards and six touchdowns, and added 31 receptions for 263 yards.
Projected to go late in the draft or undrafted altogether, Williams isn't a guy who's going to blow you away with his ability. He played five years at LSU, gaining an extra year because of COVID-19 rules, and didn't record a single fumble. Not one. And he played on special teams as a kick return man.
Williams is versatile and could be a sneaky-good utility player if developed correctly.
