Report: Rams to face No. 1 pick Cam Ward in Titans' Week 2 home opener

The Los Angeles Rams won't have to wait very long to see the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft, Cam Ward, on their schedule. According to Titans reporter Easton Freeze, the Rams will face the Tennessee Titans in Week 2 of the upcoming season, which will be the Titans’ home opener.

The Rams’ aggressive and hard-hitting defense will be a challenge for any rookie quarterback, but it’ll be even more difficult for Ward with it being just his second regular-season game.

There’s no confirmation of what time the game will be played but it’s likely to be at 1 p.m. ET.

The Tennessee Titans home opener will be in Week 2, hosting the Los Angeles Rams.

Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay come to Nashville in what will be another stiff test for Cam Ward and Brian Callahan, coming off their Week 1 game in Denver.

The Titans had the worst record in the NFL last season but with Ward at the helm, they could be a much better team in 2025. At the very least, Ward makes them an interesting team, even if he doesn't have the best playmakers around him.

The NFL will release the full schedule at 8 p.m. ET tonight on NFL Network.
