The New England Patriots are reportedly releasing veteran safety Jabrill Peppers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter on Friday.
It's a stunning move considering Peppers made the initial 53-man roster and was considered a starter heading into the 2025 season. Kyle Dugger is still on the roster, but he slipped down the depth chart in training camp. That means the Patriots could have a new starting tandem at safety this season.
