Former Steelers running backs coach Eddie Faulkner will be staying in the AFC North, taking the same job with the Baltimore Ravens, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday.
After seven years with the Steelers, running backs coach Eddie Faulkner is expected to take the same job with the AFC North rival Ravens, per sources.

After the Steelers hired former Cowboys assistant offensive line coach Ramon Chinyoung Sr. for their running backs coach job this offseason, it was clear Faulkner, who held the role from 2019-25, would be moving on.
In the 2025 season, Faulkner oversaw the play of Jaylen Warren, Kenneth Gainwell, and rookie third-round pick Kaleb Johnson. Both Warren and Gainwell enjoyed career seasons, each breaking 1,000 yards from scrimmage.
In a rare post on X in January, Warren publicly campaigned for the Steelers to keep Faulkner amid the staff transition as Mike McCarthy replaced Mike Tomlin as Pittsburgh’s head coach. Responding to a Mark Kaboly post on which Steelers assistant coaches should be kept on staff, Warren replied, “And Eddie Faulkner.”
Instead, Faulkner will now coach against the Steelers at least twice a year, now a member of first-time head coach Jesse Minter’s staff in Baltimore. The Ravens running back room is led by Derrick Henry, who has rushed for over 1,500 yards in each of his two seasons with the team.
