Former Arkansas guard Boogie Fland is reportedly withdrawing from the 2025 NBA draft after briefly testing the process, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.

Fland initially declared for the draft while maintaining his remaining college eligibility. He was among the prospects invited to the combine this week and was scheduled to participate in the scrimmages, beginning Wednesday in Chicago, Illinois.

The 18-year-old also entered the portal on the last day of the transfer window as insurance if he opted to return to college next season. After weighing his options, Fland will now forgo the draft and focus on finding his next team via the transfer portal.

Fland averaged 13.5 points, 5.1 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals on 34% shooting from 3-point range last season as a freshman with the Razorbacks. He was limited to just 21 appearances after missing two months following surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in January.

The former McDonald's All-American was on pace to earn an SEC All-Freshman Team selection after a strong start to the season. He finished in double figures in eight straight games from Dec. 10-Jan. 14, averaging 16.5 points, 6.3 assists, three rebounds and 1.6 steals over that span.

Fland will have the opportunity to play next season and work to improve his draft stock. He is expected to be pursued by several notable programs in the transfer portal.
