Rensch ready to replace Wesley vs Genoa
Roma’s next match will be away against Daniele De Rossi’s Genoa.
At Marassi, Gian Piero Gasperini will be without a key player. Wesley, booked against Juventus, was on a booking and is suspended for the next match.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Devyne Rensch is warming up to replace him.
The Dutchman put in a convincing performance against the Bianconeri.
Defensively, he completed 100% of his tackles, including nine on the ground and one in the air.
He recovered the ball three times and made five interceptions. He also played an active role in the attacking phase.
Now Gasperini and his staff are ready to give him another chance.
