Reneilwe Letsholonyane saw his Matebele FC side claim a crucial 1-0 victory over Sua Flamingoes in the FNB Botswana Premiership.
The win elevated Yeye's men to 11th with 14 points from 15 league outings, and they are now four points clear of the relegation zone, having played one game more.
Letsholonyane was appointed in August 2025, and put pen to paper on a two-year contract in what's his first sole coaching job in the topflight.
The Kaizer Chiefs legend has been tasked with improving the club's standings in the league, as they finished 12th in the previous campaign.
Since taking over the reins, he oversaw 12 matches, winning three, losing seven and drawing two other matches.
Having beaten fourth-placed Sua Flamingoes, Matebele will be brimming with confidence ahead of their clash against 12th-placed and relegation-threatened Police XI on Saturday, 24 January.
