The 2026 NFL Draft is taking place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, an AFC North city. Could the draft soon head to another AFC North city?
As we get closer to draft season, a refresher that the Cincinnati Bengals have expressed interest in hosting the draft in either 2028 or 2029. The Cincinnati Business Enquirer originally posted the report back in May of 2025.
The Bengals were originally targeting 2027, but decided to push back their bid due to the building of a new hotel near the convention center. Washington was eventually selected to host the 2027 draft.
If the Bengals were to get the draft, they would be the third AFC North city to host the draft this decade. In addition to Pittsburgh this April, Cleveland hosted the draft in 2021.
The NFL has cycled through various cities hosting the draft after holding the event in New York from 1965-2014, including the last nine at Radio City Music Hall.
