The latest set of financial results for Hearts published last week were evidence again that fan support through the Foundation of Hearts, along with the continued assistance from benefactors including James Anderson, are key if the club are to continue on an upward trajectory. The Foundation of Hearts have now handed over £16 million in the nine years since the Vladimir Romanov era ended in administration. During that time the club has been transformed into a slick commercial operation ensuring other revenue streams are exploited to their maximum.
