UEFA have appointed Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic as the man in charge of Wednesday’s match between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in the return leg of the Champions League Quarterfinals.

Slavko Vinčić will referee the match between Bayern and Real Madrid, corresponding to the return leg of the Champions League quarterfinals, which will take place at the Allianz Arena (Wednesday, 9:00 pm CEST; Orange TV and Movistar Liga de Campeones). The Slovenian will officiate a match involving our team for the fifth time in the top European competition.
Matches refereed by Vinčić for Real Madrid in the Champions League:
-Borussia Dortmund-Real Madrid (0-2). Final 2023/24.
-Real Madrid-Milan (1-3). Group stage 2024/25.
-Real Madrid-Juventus (1-0). Group stage 2025/26.
-Real Madrid-Benfica (2-1). Playoffs prior to the round of 16 2025/26 (return leg).
Vincic will have his hands full in what’s expected to be a physical and intense game between the two European giants, with Real Madrid needing to overcome their 1-2 deficit.
