Boston Red Sox outfielder Masataka Yoshida looks ready for the 2026 season.

The 32-year-old went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run during Japan's 8-6 win over Korea on Saturday at the World Baseball Classic.

"A Masa Mash to start your morning!" the Red Sox's official account posted on Bluesky.

Yoshida's performance against Korea came after he went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk during Japan's 13-0 victory vs. Chinese Taipei.

Yoshida, Shohei Ohtani and company are one of the favorites to win the 2026 World Baseball Classic after they earned the championship in 2023.

Masa was a huge part of Japan's triumph three years ago, recording two home runs, 13 RBIs and a .409/.531/.727 slash line in 2023.

With some combination of Ceddanne Rafaela, Roman Anthony, Jarren Duran and Wilyer Abreu expected to be Boston's starting outfield and designated hitter group, Yoshida is likely to be fighting for at-bats once the regular season begins.
