It is early, but the FSU Seminoles are involved with some of the top quarterback prospects in the 2028 recruiting class. One of their top targets is Kaden Craft, a four-star prospect from Mooresville, North Carolina.

They have been recruiting him for over a year now, extending him a scholarship offer on June 8, 2025, after he attended a camp in Tallahassee. They were just the fourth school to do so at the time, but teams across the country have followed suit.

Despite his recruitment taking off, one expert believes the FSU is still among the schools at the top of his recruitment. Tom Loy of 247Sports is keeping a "close eye" on the Seminoles, Tennessee Volunteers, South Carolina Gamecocks, Miami Hurricanes, and Georgia Bulldogs for Craft and believes they will all be "big players" for him.

Craft is ranked as the No. 107 overall player and No. 8 quarterback in the 247Sports composite. The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder is the No. 4 player from North Carolina.

He has visited FSU once since they offered him a scholarship, attending their game against Miami last season in Doak Campbell Stadium. He is one of 20 quarterbacks they have offered in the 2028 recruiting cycle.

Craft had a solid sophomore season at Lake Norman High School, leading them to an 8-4 record. He completed 60.0% of his passes for 1,739 yards, 17 touchdowns, and four interceptions in 12 games. A willing runner, he carried the ball 120 times for 387 yards and 13 touchdowns.
