May 29— The Southland softball team will enter the Class A state tournament as a No. 4 seed.
The Rebels will open state tournament play against No. 5 BOLD at Caswell Park in Mankato at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Rebels (20-2 overall) have won straight games and hold a QRF ranking of No. 10.
BOLD (21-7 overall) has won five straight games and has a QRF ranking of No. 6.
The winner of that game will take on the winner of top-seeded United South Central and No. 8 Sebeka.
