Real Madrid finished their LaLiga EA Sports campaign with a convincing 4-2 home victory over Athletic Bilbao at the Santiago Bernabéu. The hosts dominated the ball with 74% possession and produced 13 shots, eight of them on target, in a match that they largely dictated from start to finish.

Gonzalo García gave Madrid the lead in the 12th minute, with Dani Carvajal providing the assist. Jude Bellingham then doubled the advantage on 41 minutes, assisted by Thiago Pitarch, but Athletic Bilbao reduced the deficit in first-half stoppage time through Gorka Guruzeta, set up by Iñaki Williams.

After the break, Kylian Mbappé restored Madrid's two-goal cushion in the 51st minute, thanks to an assist from Álvaro Carreras. Athletic continued to threaten in spells, but Real Madrid kept their control and their superior attacking presence remained clear throughout the evening.

Brahim Díaz added a fourth for the home side in the 88th minute, again with Thiago Pitarch involved in the build-up, before Urko Izeta struck a late second for Athletic in the 90th minute.
