Real Madrid plan for at least three more signings after Marc Cucurella – report
Real Madrid’s summer rebuild under Jose Mourinho is far from finished.
After already making moves in the market, agreeing deals with Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konate, Bernardo Silva and Marc Cucurella, it looks like they are not done.
The club are still planning further reinforcements as they look to give the Portuguese coach a squad capable of competing immediately on every front.
According to Abraham Romero (h/t Madrid Zone), Real Madrid want to sign another centre-back, a midfielder and a forward before the end of the window.

The clearest priority is the centre-back position. That makes sense given Mourinho’s profile as a coach and the demands he places on defensive structure.
Real Madrid have already strengthened at the back, but the club still believe another central defender could be essential for the new project.
Centre-back comes first
Throughout Mourinho’s coaching career, defensive reliability has never been optional.
Real Madrid need a player who can compete for a starting role, handle pressure at the Santiago Bernabeu and give the team more tactical flexibility.
Judging by the kind of players Madrid are signing, it would come as no surprise to see Mourinho set up in a back-five system next season.
To do so, he needs enough central defenders, and it comes as no surprise to see players like Tomas Araujo and Josko Gvardiol linked.

The midfield search remains open as Madrid decide what profile best fits the squad. Names such as Enzo Fernandez, Rodri and Mateus Fernandes have all been discussed.
In attack, Madrid are also expected to look for another option. With the team entering a demanding campaign, Mourinho will want depth and goals from the bench.
It looks like Florentino Perez is also ready to loosen the purse strings and go all out this summer, which is understandable after two successive trophyless seasons.
Barcelona seem to be running away with the league domestically, and Los Blancos will want to put the brakes on that.
The rebuild is well and truly underway, and the scary part for everyone else is that Real Madrid are just getting started.
